Modern Site Maintenance and Construction Technology begins with a review of the basic management requirements of starting an efficient construction project, then discusses the key factors for clear and concise coordination as it relates to day to day operations, including property protection, health and safety, maximization of profit, property inspection, and marketing ideas. The second portion of the course focuses on the rapid advancements of technology in construction. Recent examples include 3D scanning, computer-aided design, building information modeling, algorithmic design, artificial intelligence, and robotic applications. The course will survey some of the most recent technological advances and explain how to successfully utilize them in the construction industry.
